SEVILLE AIRPORT WILL BE THE FIRST ONE IN SPAIN TO PUT INTO SERVICE AN ELECTRIC AIRPORT BUS

Aviapartner, leading provider of European ground support services and Air-Rail, leader in aircraft ground support equipment distribution, presented yesterday March 12th to Seville Airport the environmental project.

Seville Airport will be the first airport in Spain with the first electric bus operating in a Spanish airport. The Corporate Director and Human Resources from Aviapartner, Tais Iglesias Arauzo, the Managing Director of Air-Rail, José Manuel García Prieto, have presented the project to the Director of the Seville Airport, Jesus Caballero.

Aviapartner, as manager of the handling, and Air-Rail, as provider and owner of the YUTONG electric bus, have a commitment to invest in equipments and processes that are key for ensuring environmental sustainability for generations to come. In this line adopted by both companies of implementing environmental efficiency measures in their respective working areas, they will put into service the first electric bus.
