Air Rail and XOPS: Leading the Green Transportation Telemetry Revolution

Air Rail joins XOPS in London to present innovations in telemetry and its application in the AENA environment, marking a milestone in the collaboration between the two companies.

Air Rail is pleased to announce the implementation of XOPS FMS telematics, an innovative solution set to revolutionize the analysis of electricity consumption, CO₂ emissions and pooling. As the airport industry continues to evolve, the importance of green practices and sustainability measures is unquestionable. Air Rail has been at the forefront in promoting green initiatives, and the integration of XOPS FMS telematics is a testament to its dedication to reducing its carbon footprint.

XOPS FMS telematics is a sophisticated system that uses advanced telemetry and data analytics to accurately analyze electricity consumption patterns, CO₂ emissions and facilitate synergies in the operation of the airport environment through pooling initiatives. By collecting real-time data and employing intelligent algorithms, the system offers unparalleled insights into energy usage, efficiency and optimization opportunities. This invaluable information enables Air Rail to make data-driven decisions to improve its customer proposition, customizing it to the customer's needs.

Additionally, it is essential to highlight the presence and expansion of XOPS technology in the Spanish market. Currently, more than 1500 ground support equipment (GSE) in 27 airports are being monitored using XOPS technology. These 1500 GSEs in Spain represent 25% of the total assets. In addition, Air Rail has carried out a strong expansion of XOPS not only in Spain, but also in Portugal and Italy.

With this forward-looking initiative, Air Rail continues to lead by example, inspiring positive change within the airport and rail industry. By adopting innovative technologies such as XOPS FMS telematics, Air Rail reinforces its commitment to environmental stewardship, resource optimization and the creation of holistic, green transportation systems that prioritize the well-being of the planet.

This week, Cristian Gonzalez, CEO of Air Rail, gave a talk in London alongside our supplier XOPS on telemetry, its benefits, technical implications and transformative impact on optimizing the airport sector. This presentation reaffirmed Air Rail's commitment to innovation and sustainability, and demonstrated how the company is taking proactive steps to lead in the green transportation space.
