At an event that brought together business leaders, authorities and the media, Air Rail was awarded the prestigious SME of the Year 2023 award by the Community of Madrid. This recognition, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and Banco Santander, in collaboration with the Chamber of Spain and the newspaper 'El País', highlights the excellence and commitment of small and medium-sized companies in the region.
José Manuel García Prieto, founder and president of Air Rail, received the award from Ángel Asensio, president of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and Francisco Rubio, business director of the Madrid Territorial Directorate of Banco Santander. During his speech, JMGP thanked the organizers and expressed his deep appreciation to the Air Rail team. The event was attended by Juan Manuel López Zafra, General Director of Economy of the Community of Madrid, and other authorities such as Isabel Puig, President of the SME Commission of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
With more than half a million companies in Madrid, 95% of which are SMEs or microenterprises, this award highlights the importance and impact of these organizations on the local economy.
